Things everyone needs to know about safe pc optimization
A new computer is most of the time, very fast, but as time goes by it begins to slow. However, you can boost computer speed improvement by carrying out a few things.
CPU/ Processor speed
If you’re using a lot of software/programs such as AUTOCAD, Photoshop, etc. and are using an old PC, chances that you’ll get it to work very fast is , I fear, quite impossible. Trying to tweak an old PC to run as fast as a relatively new one is like getting a camel to compete in a race with a Formula one car. PC prices keep coming down as new models are made almost everyday day, so if you can afford it, treat yourself to a new PC. It will be worth all the time and irritation.
Memory/RAM Size
Most old model computers run on 1GB or less of RAM. To speed up your PC, you need to get a bigger sized RAM, which you can either install by yourself or let someone with the know-how do it for you. Upgrading your RAM also helps your hard disk last longer because most programs will run from the memory.
Uninstall and Delete ‘Useless’ Programs
Next thing to know about safe pc optimization is that a new computer comes with some programs preinstalled which you may never use. Uninstalling these and any more such programs you’ll install yourself but no longer use will free up space and speed up your computer
Cookies and Temporary internet files
These are useful in that they help you find previous pages faster when you’re on the internet. However, they can slow up your computer when they accumulate. Performing a disk cleanup will take care of this problem.
I use these simple ideas for speeding up my pc. You don’t need to be a computer expert to be able to do something to help speed up your PC.
